Oct 28 OWL Newsletter

You can also read this newsletter online at OWL Newsletter.

Dear Subscriber,

For this second issue of the OWL Newsletter, I’ve worked on fixing some of the formatting problems that showed up last week. Hopefully this one is much more readable on your computer! Feedback? Lay it on me. 🙂

I plan to send these on a more or less weekly basis, with news and updates of interest to the OWL community about members, resources, and upcoming events. (Guidelines for events are at the Wisdom Circle Calendar.) Please get back to me with any news and updates that you’d like to share with the community.

Top headline for this week — two new members who’ve been working for decades to offer former enemies the opportunity to become friends.

Questions, feedback and/or suggestions? Let me know.

In gratitude.

A Path Appears

New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof and his wife Sheryl WuDunn offer us a clear eyed, compassionate look — filled with both inspirational stories and well researched data — at how ordinary people everywhere, in the face of human suffering that can appear overwhelming, are acting to save lives and make a difference.

A great handbook for anyone in the OWL community committed to supporting a course change for humanity by supporting each other. Highly recommended.
