Women’s Leadership After the U.S. Election
- How does the recent U.S. Presidential election demonstrate issues, challenges and contribution of women’s leadership — and the partnership of men and women — around the world?
- What have we learned?
- What’s next?
This monthly circle grew out of an OWL Global Wisdom Circle on Feb. 14, 2016: How Changing Roles of Women are Changing the World, where Bonita was first speaker. Both Usman Mohammed Inuwa in Nigeria and Offuh James Offuh in Ivory Coast felt that Bonita’s work would be very relevant to their work as peacemakers in African nations. Bonita brought them together two social activists for women’s empowerment: Dr. Grace Waumue-Ngare, and Trish Sewe, in Kenya.
The four of them and Bonita decided to meet monthly, and to open the circle like-minded women and men around the world!
Please join us for a conversation about women’s leadership at this historical moment!
