May 30 Global Gender Partnership Circle

Women and men in global partnership for the empowerment of women

This circle grew out the conversation from the February 14 OWL Global Wisdom Circle: How Changing Roles of Women are Changing the World, where Bonita was first speaker. Both Usman Mohammed Inuwa in Nigeria and Offuh James Offuh in Ivory Coast felt that Bonita’s work would be very relevant to their work as peacemakers in African nations. Bonita brought them, and two women who are social activists in Kenya, (as well as Aryae and Len & Libby Traibman) together for a video conference on April 25 (with Aryae and Len & Libby Traibman also present).

The African peace makers decided that it would be very supportive of their work for this circle to meet monthly, and to open the conversation — about men and women in global partnership for the empowerment of women — to like-minded people anywhere who would like to join!
