January 17: 6th Interfaith Wisdom Circle
![]() |
Opening to spiritual wisdom — a global video conference circle of people who seek to share the sacred and serve the world. |
Guest Spiritual Leader: Andrew Vidich, Ph. D, — educator, author, editor, international speaker — describes himself as a “spiritual aspirant.” He says, “I am an aspiring disciple under the guidance of three great spiritual masters: Sant Kirpal Singh, Sant Darshan Singh and Sant Rajinder Singh, and a linage which dates back to the 15th century.” Andrew has spent decades bringing together people from diverse religious backgrounds to share the common experience of unity that underlies all spiritual traditions. He now conducts talks and meditation sessions for Science of Spirituality, which is headed by Sant Rajinder Singh, whose teachings emphasise the fundamental unity and harmony of all religions. A resident of New York, Andrew has taught religion at Manhattan College and Iona College, and is a founding member of the NY Interfaith Council. He has authored and co-authored a number of books about spirituality and meditation including Love is a Secret, Light upon Light: 5 Master Pathways to Awaken the Mindful Self, and his most recent, co-authored with Arthur Stein: Let There Be Light: Experiencing Inner Light Across the World’s Sacred Traditions. He co-edited The Spiritual Path: An Anthology of the Writings by Sant Kirpal Singh. Text: |

Andrew Vidich reads and comments:
.
Thank you for stimulating this deep conversation. It causes me to wonder if our spirit lives on, does it merge with other spirits or a greater realm of consciousness?
Dear Libby:
Our spirit has the possibility to merge with other spirits. In fact, the soul or spirit has powers we could never dream of in this world. it can transport itself to any location in the universe. it can tune in to any soul or spirit.
It can fulfill or materialize any thing or desire it likes in teh astral plane. But the goal is to go deeper and deeper into the Light of Divine love until we become pure love itself.
blessings
Andrew
I also thank Andrew and everyone for such a deep discussion.
Question for Andrew: As a way to understand the Sant Mat tradition a little better, would you share what drew you to that path?
Dear Wendy;
That is a long story which would be hard to tell in a few words.
But three things were key.
1. Direct experience of God
2. Personal and direct guidance from a authentic Master.
3. Gave a concrete meditation technique which verified the truth of the concepts
Thank you for your reply, Andrew. So many people in this community are meditators. Generally, how is the meditation technique you mentioned above different from others?
